Backend Engineer
Design and ship scalable APIs and services in Node.js and Go for high-traffic products.
About the role
You'll design the services that power our products — APIs, data models and integrations that stay fast and reliable as they scale. You think in systems and care about clean, well-tested code.
What you'll do
- Design and build APIs and services in Node.js and Go
- Model data and own database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Build integrations with third-party and payment systems
- Instrument services for observability and reliability
- Write tested, documented, maintainable code
What we're looking for
- 4+ years building backend services in production
- Strong with Node.js and/or Go and relational databases
- Experience designing scalable, event-driven systems
- Solid grasp of security and API best practices
Nice to have
- Cloud (AWS/GCP) experience
- Message queues / streaming
- Fintech or healthcare domain
